Power Assist AI is a help desk and technical issue reporting application designed for office employees and IT support teams. It gives employees a simple way to report workplace technical problems - VPN connectivity issues, internet or network problems, system or device faults, and other software-related incidents - so IT teams can track and respond to them more efficiently.
Employees at an office typically report technical issues informally - a phone call, a chat message, or walking over to the IT desk - which makes it hard for IT teams to track what's outstanding, prioritize urgent problems, or see patterns across recurring issues.
Power Assist AI gives employees a structured, accessible way to log a technical issue with relevant details, and gives the IT support team a clearer view of reported problems to manage and respond to them.
Built as a team project during the GITAM Internal SIH Hackathon 2026. The application is currently a working prototype, close to complete based on the features and workflow the team scoped for the hackathon.
